Eat your heart out, George Washington

Okay, STOP thinking about love.

Let’s face it by this time in February, Valentines Day will be over.

You will have gained five pounds after eating all the chocolate your lover has left outside your doorstep (or admit it – you bought the chocolate for yourself).

It’s time to get back to reality and celebrate something else: President’s Day.

That’s right, Monday, February 20th, we are celebrating Washington’s birthday.

And because George Washington never returned his library books, we know he was a hardcore lover of literature.

So, with no obvious connection whatsoever, we acknowledge that the M.I.A. Art & Literary Series is just happy to fall on a day where most of us don’t have to go to school or work.

We are also happy to feature the following performers:

Scott Abels

Kelsey Amos

Donovan Kūhiō Colleps

Caroline Sinavaiana

All amazing. You don’t want to miss this.
