End-of-Summer Note / Fall Performances

Mixing Innovative Arts is hoping that you had a splendid summer vacation with some time off from school, work, and whatever responsibilities were giving you heartpains. Double rainbows help, too.

M.I.A. had a great “break,” with two Summer Hiatus Workshops that included Improv provided by Play4Life and a Playshop as well as a writing group meet-and-greet with help from Hawaíi Review’s new editor-in-chief Anjoli Roy!

We feel refreshed from our August break and we’re ready to get back on track! We plan on bringing new faces to M.I.A. this Fall, as well as some of our favorite previous performers. If you are interested giving a performance with M.I.A. please contact us by emailing at miaseries@gmail.com or by using the contact form below.

To kick of our Fall line-up, on Monday, September 16th, we’ll be featuring poet Scott Abels, fiction writer and poet Gary Pak, and non-fiction writer and poet Caroline Sinavaiana to the M.I.A. Art & Literary Series stage, located at Fresh Café’s Loft in Space (831 Queen St. in the Kakaako neighborhood). The event will begin at 7:30pm. FREE. ALL AGES.

We can’t wait to see you there!
